East + R Integration: Use Cases
Part 3: Simulating Time-to-Event Patient Data with Alternative Distributions
Watch on Demand
Watch On-Demand
This webinar will continue our series focused on leveraging the flexibility of R coding in conjunction with Cytel’s proprietary software East and Solara.
With this new capability, our users can enjoy greater latitude in selecting input parameters, such as analysis types and test statistics, beyond those that are native to the software.
Topics
We will cover the following use cases anchored in an Oncology study design example:
- Selecting alternative distributions for response generation
- Applying a Weibull distribution to simulate patient data, allowing for changing hazards over time
- Changing the analysis type with Bayesian method variations
We will show how these use cases can help achieve more accurate sample size optimization, while maintaining an acceptable and more realistic probability of study success.
Webinar Hosts
- Valeria Mazzanti, Associate Director of Customer Success
- Kyle Wathen, Vice President, Scientific Strategy & Product Innovation
