Maria Rizzo

Vice President, Global Head, SLR & LiveSLR

Maria’s work is concentrated on the conduct of evidence synthesis to match the treatment pathway and on the optimization of the literature review process via technology through ​Cytel’s LiveSLR suite, turning evidence synthesis into a living approach.

Before joining Cytel, Maria worked for different consultancies, academia, and the public health sector, where she, for example, produced clinical guidelines in mental health for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence. She has more than 14 years of experience in evidence synthesis including Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs) and feasibility studies in indirect treatment comparisons in support of reimbursement applications.

Maria holds a master’s degree in forensic Mental Health from King’s College London.
